The Brig-Ayd Silver line brake and electronic throttle control has been designed to fit any vehicle which has a electronic throttle system fitted as standard to the vehicle. This means the throttle pedal has no mechanical connection to the engine and all engine speed control is carried via an electrical signal from the throttle pedal. Once our control is fitted to your vehicle we can reproduce these signals via the use of a plunger or trigger handle attached to your brake lever. The brake is operated in the same manner as our conventional single lever control, by pushing the lever forward. This system allows instant and positive control of the brake and very light fingertip control of the accelerator thus providing the least fatiguing driving experience of any of the controls we currently provide’
Wheelchair Boot Hoist
The boom of the hoist has a unique folding action so as to fold neatly out of the way when not in use. A system of interlocks ensures that it is locked in the up position before it can be operated. Particular attention has been paid to the design so a weak or elderly person can operate the hoist without difficulty. A boot hoist will not work in every car, or for every wheelchair. Easy Release Handbrake
The easy release, or quick release handbrake for disabled drivers is a simple mechanical attachment that fits most vehicles to allow the driver to release the brake latch when finger strength or dexterity is reduced. The lever grip can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of the user.
